It all began with an idea. As a journalism major, I was struggling to find my passion (or beat if that’s the proper word). I loved telling hard news stories, but it just wasn’t enough for me - I wanted more and I had a lot more to say. After being given the honor of performing at the Floodwater Comedy Festival in 2020, there was no way I wasn’t going to figure out how I could incorporate entertaining comedy into journalism media.
As a person with a lot of worries and anxieties, I sought out to create a space where important topics could be discussed. I created a podcast where topics such as mental health, feminism, trending topics, love and relationships could all be talked about. My mission was to use vulnerability, comedy and conversation as a way to promote new perspectives within society.
