Podcaster, journalist and comedian.

As a recent graduate of the University of Iowa, I’ve been working hard to develop my own brand. From developing my own podcast, directing and performing in my own comedy shows to writing first person narratives and opinion pieces - I have a knack for doing it all!

The ‘I Need a Break’ Podcast.

It all began with an idea. As a journalism major, I was struggling to find my passion (or beat if that’s the proper word). I loved telling hard news stories, but it just wasn’t enough for me - I wanted more and I had a lot more to say. After being given the honor of performing at the Floodwater Comedy Festival in 2020, there was no way I wasn’t going to figure out how I could incorporate entertaining comedy into journalism media.

As a person with a lot of worries and anxieties, I sought out to create a space where important topics could be discussed. I created a podcast where topics such as mental health, feminism, trending topics, love and relationships could all be talked about. My mission was to use vulnerability, comedy and conversation as a way to promote new perspectives within society.

About Me.

Why should you want to hire me?

  • I’m a strong leader, a hard worker, a team player and love to create any type of news/commentary media.

  • I may specialize in podcasting - but I’ve also gotten my hands into making social media videos (particularly YouTube), writing scripts and writing pieces about women’s health issues.

  • I have a strong passion for narrative storytelling and making it entertaining and thought-provoking.

Need More?

I’ve known since childhood that I had a knack for entertaining and telling stories - and that I’d find some way to do that for a living. Despite the fear of not exactly knowing how I was going to get there, nothing stopped me from seeking answers and persisting.
